- Science, Engineering & Technology Occupations (Full list and more details are given below)
- French Fluency Path – Any skilled occupation is eligible – E.g. Admin Assistant, Banker, Bookkeeper and over ( More details are given below)
EDUCATION OCCUPATIONS
Below 40 years
At least a Bachelor Degree ( Higher possibility of selection for Master’s Degree or an eligible professional degree( e.g. MBBS, Pharmacist, Law) OR Two post secondary qualifications( Three year credential + 6 months to 1 year credential)
IELTS (General Test) at least Listening 8, and other bands 7 each ( or equivalent in PTE Core/CELPIP). For younger applicants, lower IELTS results may be sufficient.
At least 6-month work experience in one of the education occupations + 2.5 years of work experience in the same or any other skilled occupation (e.g. Admin Assistant).( For younger applicants, even one year work experience may be sufficient.
Eligible Occupation List – Primary School Teachers & Assistants, Montessori/ Pre School Teachers & Assistants, Secondary School Teachers & Assistants, Instructors of persons with disabilities – ( English and other language teachers are also included. In fact, almost all school and pre school teacher and assistant categories including day care , music, dance and any other teachers and assistants)
HEALTHCARE & SOCIAL WORKER PATH
Below 35 years
IELTS General Test at least Listening 8, and other three bands 7 each (or equivalent in PTE Core/CELPIP). Within the last three years, at least 6 month work experience in one of the following occupations and 2.5 more years of work experience in any other skilled occupation (e.g. Admin Assistant) OR in the same occupation.
At least a Bachelor Degree (Higher possibility for Master’s Degree or an eligible professional degree( e.g. MBBS, Pharmacist , Law) OR Two post secondary qualifications( Three year credential + 6 months to 1 year credential)
* However, if the age or selection threshold gets higher, qualification requirement also could get higher
Healthcare Occupation List – Doctors(Family/General Physicians), Nurses, Specialist doctors, Surgeons, Veterinarians, Dentists, Health Care Managers, Nursing supervisors/Matrons, Caregivers( Select categories), Optometrists, Audiologists and speech-language pathologists, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants & Technicians, Dietitians and nutritionists, Psychologists, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Kinesiologists and other professional occupations in therapy and assessment, Other professional occupations in health diagnosing and treating, Midwives and allied health professionals, Opticians, Respiratory Therapists, Paramedics, Veterinary Assistant, Animal health technologists and veterinary technicians, Other technical occupations in therapy and assessment, Denturists, Dental hygienists and dental therapists, Dental technologists and technicians, Medical Laboratory technologists, Medical laboratory assistants and related technical occupations, Medical radiation technologists, Medical sonographers, Cardiology technologists and electrophysiological diagnostic technologists, Pharmacy technicians, Other medical technologists and technicians, Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists, Massage therapists, Ayurvedic & Other such practitioners of natural healing, Dental assistants and dental laboratory assistants, Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates, Pharmacy technical assistants and pharmacy assistants, Other assisting occupations in support of health services.
Social Workers Occupation List– Social Workers, Therapists & Counsellors,
Since Canada continuously promotes both Canadian official Languages English & French throughout Canada (in almost all Canadian provinces and territories), many paths for Canadian permanent residency have been opened for the applicants with French Fluency, during the last few years. While we are not able to guarantee, it is highly likely French Fluent applicants will continue to get a higher possibility of obtaining Canadian PR.
SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, TECHNOLOGY
Please note that while Science & Technology – Engineers and even Insurance agents & brokers etc. (full list is given below) are among the Demand Category in the amended list on 27 February, Immigration Canada has issued a statement dated 04.03.2025 stating that selections will not happen for those occupations in 2025. However, those who have experience in the following occupations could expect selection in 2026 and therefore they can be ready with education, language and work experience requirements with this information.
Science, Engineering, Technology Occupation List – Architecture & Science Managers, Civil, Electrical & Geological Engineers, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering Technologists (Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical) Insurance Agents & Brokers
IT – Cybersecurity Engineers
At least a Bachelor Degree (Higher possibility for Master’s Degree OR Two post secondary qualifications
( Three year credential + 6 months to 1 year credential)
Also, when the age or selection threshold gets higher, the qualification requirement also could get higher)
FRENCH FLUENCY PATH TO CANADIAN PERMANENT RESIDENCY
Below 50 years
French Language Fluency CLB Level 07 (Approximately B2 Level) (Equivalent to IELTS 6 each knowledge in French)- TEF or TCF Canada Test results required
At least a one year diploma/certificate
* However, if and when the age or selection threshold get higher, qualification requirement also could get higher – For example, Two qualifications (Three year credential + 6 months to 1 year credential) OR Master’s Degree or an eligible professional degree(e.g. MBBS, Pharmacist, Law)
IELTS General (or equivalent in PTE Core/CELPIP) at least Reading 5 and 5.5 each for other three bands
* However, if and when the age or selection threshold get higher, Language requirement could get higher up to 8 for listening and 7 each for other bands or equivalent in PTE or CELPIP
At least one year work experience in ANY SKILLED OCCUPATION within the last five years (Admin Assistant/Bookkeeper to Top Manager Level ( driver like semi skilled jobs are not eligible) – However, if and when the age or selection threshold get higher, work experience requirement also could get higher up to two or three years.

If you do not meet the above requirements and cannot meet them in the foreseeable future, please do not proceed to a paid consultation with us.
